“Iso” has been a really challenging time for everyone in different ways. Coming up with creative ways to stay connected has been essential, and that’s how East’s Virtual Green House got growing.
“We know loads of people have plants in their rooms, but obviously in the current climate, we are missing out on the opportunity to visit each other,” says Eastie, Eleanor Dickin.
“The Greenhouse was created by one of our lovely RM’s, Darcee Nixon, to make sure our East community still feels the connection and spirit of friendship that we pride ourselves on.
“We love seeing our residents get their green thumbs out and know that despite not being together, we’re all connected!”
How does a virtual greenhouse work exactly, you ask?
East residents have been uploading their best horticultural efforts to the greenhouse facebook group and sharing tips and tricks on being a good plant parent.
